1 Year Doctor's Visit

Niamh had her 1 year doctor's appointment on Friday. It was a little late, but we had been traveling a bit around her actual birthday. She weighed in at 19 pounds and 2 ounces (15 percentile) and measured at 30.5 inches (84 percentile).

Niamh had her last swimming class of the session on Saturday (with her friend, Niamh :) ). She was very excited...

Niamh has a basket of dress up stuff. She's definitely a girly girl and loves trying on necklaces and bracelets. She really got into it today...

Too bad there wasn't a hair brush in that basket!

Have a great night!

Finally, a blog post!

Needless to say, I've been a little busy! I've actually been doing more photo shoots and graphic design work (and taking less pictures of Niamh *gasp*).

But I will catch up on here soon. So much has been going on with our little girl. Tomorrow is her 1 year doctor's appointment! I wonder how tiny compared to other babies she's going to be this time?

I realized I never told the surprise that we received when Niamh went to her first swimming lessons. The swim instructor was going around the pool asking for all of the kids names. When she got to us, we said "Niamh." She said, "Oh, there's another Niamh right across the pool." We were astounded! We asked the other Niamh's mom how she spelled it. And, she spells is NIAMH! I also asked if she's encountered any other Niamh's and she said only in Ireland.

Here are a couple of pictures of Niamh giving Grandpa "window kisses" the other day when he was leaving. Niamh has done a 180 from when she used to be very stingy with her kisses. Now, she gives kisses all day!

Here's a couple more pictures I'll leave you with.

Niamh's newest favorite thing is to push the recycling container around on the floor. Even though she's perfectly capable of walking on her own. I'm not sure why we even buy toys?

And here's Niamh doing the laundry in her "house" she got for her birthday...

Oh wait, I mean the dishes...

Oh wait, I mean beating the drums...

She confuses me all day long (and has been known to put cell phones in her washing machine)

Have a great night!
